Frequently asked questions
What jobs do you do?
Small repairs and replacements (taps, door handles, hinges, roller shutters), fitting items (shelves, curtain poles, mirrors, TVs, connecting a washing machine or dishwasher to existing connections), painting one wall and touch-ups, window cleaning, getting your home ready before arrival, and furniture assembly.
What jobs don’t you do?
Major renovations, tiling, alterations to plumbing or electrical systems, gas and electrical installations requiring a licence, replacing sockets and switches, and work from scaffolding.
How much does an estimate cost?
Estimates from photos are free. Send a description and photos on WhatsApp and I’ll give you a price range. If photos aren’t enough, an on-site assessment costs €25, deducted from the price if you book the work with me.
How much will I pay per hour?
The first hour including travel costs €45 in zone A, €50 in zone B and €70 in zone C. Each additional hour on weekdays (Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00) costs €36, billed per started 15-minute period (€9). Urgent weekend jobs: €45/h; outside working hours: €54/h. Final prices include IVA.
Could I end up paying more than the estimate?
Not without your agreement. If extra work comes up, I message you on WhatsApp with a description and a price. I only do it once you agree.
Who buys the materials?
You can buy them yourself or I can do it. Materials are charged at cost: I show you the receipt and add no markup. Shopping time is charged in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate (minimum €10).
How can I pay?
After the job is done: cash, Bizum or bank transfer. There are no online payments on the website.
What if I need to cancel the visit?
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance and you pay nothing. Later cancellations cost 50% of the first-hour price including travel.
How do I send photos?
WhatsApp is easiest: +34 680 693 094. A photo of the fault or installation location, or a furniture product link, helps me estimate the price much faster.
Which language can I communicate with you in?
Polish, English and basic Spanish.
